An all-day music festival is being held to raise funds for St George’s Theatre in Great Yarmouth.
The event will run from 2pm to 11pm on 23 May, with festival goers receiving a wristband allowing them to come and go during the event, with more than 10 bands already announced for the line up.
Performers expected include The Craft, Shot To Pieces, Ronan Williams, Lost Property, The Sections, Robin Adams, Black River Renegade, Tom Arbin, Whoosh, The Compressors, and The Rewinders.
St George’s is Great Yarmouth’s only year-round theatre, based between the town centre at the seafront in a converted Grade I chapel. It has been used as a community arts space since the 1970s, and was received Heritage Lottery funding for a substantial refurbishment in 2009.
- Tickets cost £10 for standing or £12.50 for seated tickets, and are available from the St George’s Theatre website.
