The shocking story of the Post Office scandal – and the real life experiences of one of the shopkeepers caught up in it – is explored in a new drama touring East Anglia in February and March.

Glitch – The True Story of the Post Office Scandal focuses on Pam Stubbs, sub-postmistress of Barkham Post Office for over twenty years, respected and loved by the community. But when unexplained discrepancies start appearing in her accounts, Pam soon finds herself at the heart of the biggest miscarriage of justice in English legal history.

The play was created with sub-postmistresses and masters affected by the events, key members of the legal process and commissioned by the University of Reading.

The 75-minute show was written by Zannah Kearns and is directed by Gareth Taylor. Joanne Howarth takes the lead role of Pam Stubbs, with Naveed Khan, Sabina Netherclift, Laura Penneycard making up the ensemble

The UK tour includes Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds on 10-11 February, Ipswich New Wolsey Theatre on 13-14 February, Chelmsford Theatre on 28 February, and Norwich Theatre Playhouse on 3 March.
