Norwich Theatre is on the lookout for budding performers to be a part of the junior ensemble for its 2025 panto, Cinderella.
Twelve children will be cast in total, with the number of performances being split among the performers over the run, which opens on 6 December through to 4 January 2026.
The junior ensemble will play a variety of roles, from lively townspeople to mischievous mice. Applications to be take part open on Wednesday 23 July and close on Sunday 24 August.
To take part, you need to be a young performer aged 10–13 with strong dance and singing skills. Due to the demands of the production, applicants must live within a 30-minute travel time of Norwich Theatre Royal.
Rehearsals and performances will include commitments during school hours, as well as evenings and weekends. The rehearsal period will start on 17 November.
Panto lead producer Wendy Ellis said: “This year our junior ensemble will be at the heart of Cinderella’s captivating love story, playing a pivotal role in creating the panto magic on our stage alongside.
“We know the region is full of talented young people, and I cannot wait to see who will apply and help us tell Cinderella’s story.”
